Ecxlusive licensing agreement between mivenion and ipal
FU invention licensed to Berlin pharma company
mivenion GmbH and IPAL today announced that they have entered an exclusive licensing agreement for the world-wide development and commercialization of drugs derived out of bioactive polymers that enable discovery and development of targeted diagnostics and therapeutics for inflammation and autoimmune disorders. The core technology was developed by the research group of Prof. Dr. Rainer Haag at the Freie Universität (FU) Berlin and Dr. Jens Dernedde, Institute of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiochemistry at Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Based on a strong expertise in targeted diagnostic and therapeutic effector molecules, mivenion will generate various drug lead candidates in different clinical indications.
